Did you know that there are animals that glow under UV light? Millipedes are one of those animals! Walking around the forest at night with a normal flashlight, these critters can be rather hard to spot. With a UV flashlight, they stand out very easily! It is thought that a protein in their exoskeleton is what causes this phenomenon and turns them into the life of the nocturnal party.
